Service Description
This service is suited to individuals and families who have long term goals and little to no interest in being involved in the day to day management of their funds. They are typically busy professionals or retirees who prefer to automate their investment strategy and leave the decision making to the experts. While this service is mostly hands off, it requires some initial and ongoing inputs to the investment management process. Step One A discovery meeting of 1 to 2 hours which aims to create a a) Client demographic profile b) Risk prolife c) Goal profile d) Personal/Family Financial Statements (Optional)- completed in separate 1 to 2 hr meeting. e) Client Q & A f) An overview of fees, return expectations & next steps. Step Two Daniel creates a customized portfolio proposal based on data gathered in Step One. He also drafts an Investment Policy Statement (IPS)* and Investment Management Agreement (IMA)* and shares these with the client prior to the 2nd meeting. During this 2nd meeting (usually 1 hour) the following is covered. a) Daniel explains how the proposed portfolio fits into your goals, the contents of the portfolio, expected performance and risk factors. b) Client gives feedback c) If necessary, Daniel would make revisions to the portfolio and a 3rd meeting is set to review again. d) Once the portfolio is accepted by the client, Daniel reviews the IPS and IMA with the client for signing at a later date. Step Three After the client signs the IPS and IMA, the formal Know Your Customer process starts. The following documents must be collected for each account holder (Joint accounts with up to 2 persons only): 1) One form of ID - Passport 2) One proof of address- Utility bill or Driver's Permit 3) One proof of Income- job letter or pay slip. 4) Tax/BIR Number A 3rd working meeting (30 mins to 1 hr) is set up to create the client profile on the electronic platform. The application normally takes 3 to 5 business days for approval. The e-platform allows the client 24/7 viewing access to their portfolio via an app or web based login. Step Four Daniel sends the funding instructions to the client. The client must initiate the bank wire from an account in their name. Daniel then deploys the portfolio, monitors and rebalances in line with the client IPS. Annual review (1 hr) Daniel reviews performance, risk and progress towards/changes to stated goals with client.
